This year's conference of the Australian Linguistic Society, hosted by the University of South Australia, promises to deliver a range of engaging presentations and workshops from leading academics in the field of linguistics. Student Conference Attendance Support
A grant of $500 is available to support student attendance at the ALS Annual Conference. The students who satisfy the following criteria can apply the bursary.
- The applicant must be enrolled at a University.
- The applicant must be a financial member of ALS at the date of submission of the application.
- The applicant must have received an offer to present at the ALS Annual Conference.
- If the conference is to be held at a site in a metropolitan area, then the applicant may not be a resident of that metropolitan area.
Note: Applications close on Sunday 21 October.
Cancellation Policy
There is a cancellation fee of $75 for full conference registrations cancelled prior to the cut-off date of Monday 3 December (with the remaining registration fee refunded). There will be no refunds for cancellations of single-day registrations. There will be no refunds for cancellations after the cut-off date.
